Over the winter and spring, the Borough turns the biodegradable paper bags full of autumn leaves that residents collect into usable compost. This year, the compost will be ready for distribution in June. Residents can pick up a supply from the Joint Churchill/Forest Hills Compost Site at the corner of Business Route 22 and Rodi Road from 7:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. on June 1st and June 8th. * BYOC: Bring Your Own Containers.

There is a suggested donation of $2 a vehicle. Delivery is available at a set cost of $10/bucket of mulch (2 buckets equals 4 cubic yards), plus $35 for delivery charge for every 2 buckets. Cash, checks or money orders, and credit cards are accepted, and are to be made payable to Borough of Churchill. To pay by card call the borough or stop in.
