The Borough of Churchill encompasses a total of 2.5 square miles of land area, houses an approximate 1,494 housing units, and is home to an estimated 3,157 residents, as of the 2019 American Community Survey.
The Borough owns and maintains 14.150 miles of road and 11.5miles of storm sewer system lines. In addition, the Churchill Borough sewage collection system services approximately 5,300 customers. The sewage system is comprised of 677 manholes and125,522 feet (23.77 miles) of gravity sewer lines ranging from four (4) inches to ten (10) inches in diameter.
The Borough of Churchill is a municipal government located in Allegheny County in Western Pennsylvania. The Woodland Hills School District is the public school district available to those residing within the Borough. The Borough, the School District, the County, and the State of Pennsylvania are separate entities with separate taxing authority. Each governmental unit is responsible for specific service provisions to Borough of Churchill residents.
