Council Vice President
Andrea Ditillo
Andrea is an experienced Account Manager. She is in charge of negotiating and compliance of contracts, finding creative solutions to problems that arise, forecasting, working from the clinical level to the C suite within our local hospitals, driving sales, and training of the end users. It is truly a people-based job that requires navigating many levels within the organization. She has been recognized for her leadership, teamwork, and accomplishments.
As a resident of Blackridge she has volunteered for many community events such as the Fourth of July parade, Gingerbread House building, Fall Fest etc. She took it upon herself to maintain the park, playground, and trails around the neighborhood. Along with other neighbors she painted the BCA building and cleaned up the property from the road through the parking lot. She believes that this is the best community because of the hard work, kindness, and dedication of its residents.
"I am excited for the opportunity to continue to make a positive impact on the place I love the most."

Deb Casini Klein
Helping people is one of the reasons that Deb Casini Klein decided to run for Borough Council. “I thought this would be a great opportunity to engage and help people in my community,” says Deb, who prides herself on being a good problem solver and listener. “I can see both sides of things. I’m fair when it comes to judgment. If I’m given a job, I take it very seriously.
A resident for 18 years, Deb and her husband Bob, son Michael and daughter Isabella moved to Churchill when the couple was employed by WTAE-TV. For them, the big selling point was that they could have a home tucked in the woods and in 30 seconds, be on the Parkway for a very short drive to work. Deb has had a career as a television producer for many decades (she earned six Emmy Awards and numerous other awards for her work). With a passion for travel, she became a travel agent as well after taking a three month trip around the world with her husband (before kids of course!) She is also the director of the “I Want To Be An Ambassador” teen leadership summer camp.
A graduate of John Carroll University in Cleveland, Deb mentors students from her alma mater as well as Pitt students in the broadcasting field. In addition to serving on Churchill’s Recreation Board, Deb is on the Board of Directors at Pace School and a member of the Churchill-Wilkins Rotary Club. Many residents also know her as the Churchill Easter Bunny! She volunteers for many organizations, including the Knead Community Café in New Kensington, a “pay what you can” restaurant that serves nutritious, local food everyone, regardless of their ability to pay.
“I love my community,” says Deb. “I want to be very accessible. If there are any problems, I want the residents to contact me. I want to serve them well.”

Greg Prodonovich
Hello, my name is Greg Prodonovich, your newly appointed council member. I grew up in Beaver County, about 40 minutes west of Churchill. I attended the Pennsylvania State University and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in history. Shortly after college I was employed by my local government in the Parks department. I have been a Churchill resident for five years. My husband and I were drawn to the area because of its abundance of mid century homes. We settled on a perfect home in Ridgewood Manor where we reside with our three dogs. I love our neighborhood, we have a quiet street with the greatest neighbors you could possibly ask for. My love for not just our neighborhood but the community as a whole is what inspired me to join council. Currently, I serve as President of the Ridgewood Manor Association and sit on the board of a non-profit named Joey’s P.A.W. whose mission is to provide custom prosthetics or wheelchairs to animals of all kinds. I will apply my previous local government experience and the skills I have acquired in the non-profit sector to help maintain Churchill’s reputation as a great place to live. I will tirelessly work to foster growth, encourage positive change, and serve the citizens to help future Churchill compete as a desirable community where people can have the pleasure of living here, like I have. Let’s get to work!

Matthew Castiglia
Dear Council Members,
Please accept my application for the Borough Council member opening that became available recently when two members stepped down. I believe I would be a good fit for the council based upon my experience working with volunteer and non-profit organizations, as well as my educational background.
My family and I moved to Churchill in the spring of 2017 and quickly fell in love with our vibrant street and wonderful neighbors that have become family over the years. We really never thought that we would leave the City of Pittsburgh but were truly blessed to stumble upon the hidden gem that is Churchill Borough.
I graduated from the University of Pittsburgh in 2009 with Bachelors of Science in Civil / Structural Engineering. Additionally, I obtained a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Pittsburgh in 2018. I progressively worked my way up with a number of local engineering firms in the Pittsburgh region before starting my own consulting firm in January 2019. My varied interests have allowed me to develop competencies in a multitude of areas including: commercial & residential structural engineering, retaining walls, building enclosures, project management, and team leadership / management, small business management.
In addition to my formal education I’ve also been involved in many non-profits and volunteer organizations that have equipped me for this position. I’m currently serving my third 3-year term as the Pittsburgh American Society of Engineers Award Foundation treasurer. As treasurer I manage a foundation fund of over 200k and the foundation gives over 10k of scholarship awards to Western Pennsylvania engineering students each year. I also volunteer with Mary of Nazareth Catholic School where my kids attend, assist with Girl Scouts of America and my girls’ troop, help with a multitude of events at McKeesport High School where my wife has been a dedicated educator for 19 years, and run sound / media for McKeesport Alliance Church where we attend.
Finally, I have 3 years of experience having previously been on Churchill Council as a member who was trusted to lead the infrastructure committee. While Council was a great deal of work it was also an amazing opportunity to personally develop while serving by: learning more about Borough functions and operations, working with diverse teams of staff and other elected officials, and advocating for our community on the regional and county level. I look forward to the opportunity to continue serving our community.
Sincerely,
Matthew Castiglia
