Using Churchill Borough's GIS (Geographic Information Systems) Portal, residents can apply for permits, view existing zoning districts, and track progress on the Borough's ongoing tree inventory project.

Using the GIS Portal

The front page of the portal explains the purpose of our GIS portal. You can search for what you are looking for on the GIS portal here.

Further down, you will find the sewer management system map of Churchill. You can search an address or place or click on a point on the sewer management system map of the Borough to learn more.

Below the sewer management system map is a list of other available maps. You can choose to explore other available maps of the Borough, including a demographics map, a mined areas map, a zoning map, and a FEMA flood zones map.

For example, when you click on the Churchill Zoning Map, you will see a map that looks like this. You can click on the bulleted list on the right side of the map to pull up a legend for the zoning codes.

Tree Management

Residents can see what's going on with the trees in Churchill Borough through our GIS Portal! Information will be updated as more trees are added to the system.

Click on the Tree Management link at the top of the Churchill Borough GIS Portal homepage to get to the Churchill Borough Tree Management site. The main Tree Management page shows the number of trees we have tracked so far, along with planting spaces and volunteer hours.

In the Tree Viewer, you can see where the trees are that have been tracked so far, along with what kinds of trees have been identified. This information will be updated as more trees are tracked.

Coming Soon:
