Churchill Mid-Century Modern Home & Garden Tour planned for the Fall of 2025
Pre-planning work is underway to organize and develop a new event spotlighting the mid-century architecture found within Churchill Borough. The existence of modern architecture in Churchill includes designs from various well-known modernist architects, such as Tasso Katselas and Herbert Seigle. Other architects, designers, and artists, such as Aaronel deRoy Gruber who lived in Churchill, were integral to the Mid-Century Modern (MCM) movement that is a fascinating part of Churchill Borough’s history.
The Churchill Mid-Century Modern Home & Garden Tour “Pre-Planning” Committee in partnership with Churchill Borough, the Recreation Board of Churchill and the Pittsburgh Modern Committee of Preservation Pittsburgh welcome you to participate in the inaugural edition of the Churchill Mid-Century Modern Home & Garden Tour, which we propose to take place in the Fall of 2025.

We want to hear from you! There are many ways to participate:
- Have your MCM home and garden considered for inclusion as part of the tour
